Own all the things is a memetic rallying cry for some of those who are part of the own your data and IndieWeb movements. It is a sub-category of the meme "X All the Things". Often it can be a strategy of social silos (and particularly their legal departments) to maintain an onerous and high level of ownership of the data input by their users.
