tantek in reviewing the conversation about Bridgy being liberal about sending backfeed webmentions - Intuitively I keep leaning more and more toward snarfed's reasoning and choices.

tantek Two reasons I can think of so far - it's a great way to bootstrap people onto handling backfeeds, by getting more of them (than they otherwise might), they feel more engaged more quickly
