Dynamic DNS

Dynamic DNS is the process of pointing a DNS record to a computer that allows it to resolve a non-fixed IP, by having a computer send it's IP, along with credentials to a web-service, which then uses the machines IP address to update either the DNS record or an interstitial machine, which creates the connection.
