Amazon Web Services (commonly abbreviated to AWS) is a collection of remote computing services that together make up a cloud computing platform, offered over the Internet by Amazon.

It is a branding that encompasses EC2, SES (bulk mailing), Glacier, and other Amazon data and compute services.
