From IndieWeb
(Redirected from Carnival)

A blog carnival was an early form of independent, personally curated content aggregation, often hosted by different people in rotation, in which the host would write a post linking to any posts submitted on the chosen topic.

Jeremy Cherfas

Jeremy Cherfas has quite a long history with blog carnivals. He hosted some back in the day and lately has tried to revive the idea by revisiting old posts and, indeed, searching for the remnants of carnival culture. A search for Carnival on his site will turn up other goodies.

Sara Jakša

Sara Jakša started the IndieWeb carnival here. She also hosted an edition of the A Carnival of Aros and participated in A Carnival of Aces and Artocalypse blog carnival by writing on her blog.
