Perl is a programming language used by a handful of IndieWeb projects and personal sites.

Jason McIntosh's blog, Fogknife, uses Plerd, his own Perl-based static site generator capable of sending and receiving webmentions.
His personal site, https://jmac.org, makes use of Mason, a Perl-based dynamic templating engine.
