An endpoint is a URL for an application to communicate with to make something happen.
Examples of endpoints on the IndieWeb are:
- Webmention endpoint where a website receives their Webmentions.
- IndieAuth:
- Authorization endpoint for logins, and
- token endpoint so a long-lived session can be created.
- Micropub endpoint where Micropub clients can send new posts.
