An endpoint is a URL for an application to communicate with to make something happen.

Examples of endpoints on the IndieWeb are:

• Webmention endpoint where a website receives their Webmentions.
• IndieAuth:
  • Authorization endpoint for logins, and
  • token endpoint so a long-lived session can be created.
• Micropub endpoint where Micropub clients can send new posts.
