Development for Pico was done on GitHub.
The app allowed one to
- Create a new post including text and/or an image
- View your timeline
- Open the conversation view for a single post
- Reply to a post from the timeline

Manton Reece has indicated that it "Probably wouldn’t be a big stretch for an Android developer to update Pico since it’s already using Micropub, just currently hardcoded to Micro.blog’s endpoint."
